Oregon SC is looking for volunteers for three important positions: Oregon Soccer Fall Fury Director, Travel Coordinator and Veo Camera Program Coordinator.

Guidance and assistance will be provided. The families of individuals serving in these positions will be exempt from Oregon SC volunteer requirements for the 2023-24 season.

Please consider volunteering for one of these positions — you can help us continue to provide a quality soccer experience for hundreds of children in our community.

Tournament Director

  • This is a non-voting Board position.
  • Oversee the organization and execution of the annual Oregon Soccer Fall Fury in Fitchburg and Brooklyn/Oregon, Sept. 29-Oct. 1.
  • The structure of this position is flexible; it could be two co-directors.
  • We already have individuals who have committed to be part of a tournament committee — including people to coordinate sponsorships, volunteers, food carts/concessions and registration/scheduling.

Travel Coordinator

  • This is a non-voting Board position
  • The person in this role helps club teams that are traveling to out-of-town tournaments that are expected to result in families staying at hotels. Contact tournament officials about about hotels in the area, set up room blocks for Oregon SC teams at hotel(s) and distribute information to team managers.
  • Coordinate hotel rooms for for Oregon SC Competitive coaches as needed.

Veo Camera Program Coordinator

  • This is a non-voting Board position
  • Last summer, the club purchased two Veo cameras to record games. Match video is important for any high school-age players who would like to play college soccer, and game (and practice) video can be very helpful for coaches and players to identify areas of improvement and to reinforce and highlight positive developments. And, it's a way for parents or other family members and friends to be able to watch games they would otherwise not be able to see. During the 2022-23 season, we recorded 92 matches, the vast majority of them involving Competitive teams. We're looking for a volunteer to coordinate the cameras and scheduling each week — our goal is to improve the efficiency of this program and try to get more matches recorded.
