2025-2026 OVERVIEW
- NEW: For 11U and 12U teams, two weeknight practices each week, one with a paid professional trainer (combined with other teams) and one with a volunteer coach and team.
- For 13U and older teams, one or two weeknight practices each week with a volunteer coach, based on coach/team preference.
- Eight games in MAYSA leagues in Fall 2025 and eight in Spring 2026. Half of the games will be in Oregon, with the other half in Madison-area communities. Most games on weekends, but some games could be on weeknights.
- Teams can choose to play in tournaments, at an additional cost.
- There is an additional cost for the uniform, which is approximately $55-80 . Teams will wear the same orange jersey as in recent seasons, but all players will need to purchase the new black jersey.
- Parent volunteer coaches are needed — soccer and/or coaching experience is preferred, but not required. Coaching courses, assistance and resources are available at no cost. Learn more
- Girls can choose to play on all-girls teams or on coed/boys teams.
- Practices are expected to start in mid-August, with the first league games the weekend of Sept. 6-7.
- Sessions with a professional trainer will be 75 minutes for 9U players and 90 minutes for 10U through 12U players.
- Age groups could be combined to provide playing opportunities for more players.
- Games for 11U/12U teams will be 9v9 (eight field players plus a goalkeeper). Games for 13U and older teams will be 11v11 (10 field players plus a goalkeeper).
