Oregon SC is still looking to fill two important positions: Our new Tournament Coordinator role and Oregon Soccer Fall Fury Director for the 2024 event.

Guidance and assistance will be provided. The Tournament Coordinator's family will be exempt from Oregon SC volunteer requirements for the 2023-24 season, and the Fall Fury director will be exempt for the 2024-25 season.

Please consider stepping into one of these positions and help us continue to provide a quality soccer experience for hundreds of children in our community.

Tournament Coordinator

• This is a volunteer non-voting Board position
• Register all Oregon SC Competitive and Academy teams for tournaments ahead of the fall and spring seasons.
• Serve as the club's liaison with tournament officials
• Work with Oregon SC coaches, team managers and the Oregon SC Travel Coordinator to ensure rosters, waivers and room blocks are taken care of for each event.
• Be a member of the Oregon Soccer Fall Fury tournament committee

Oregon Soccer Fall Fury Director

• This is a volunteer non-voting Board position
• In addition to this role, we would like to find an Assistant Director, who would agree to move into the director role after one or two years — that would help ensure that the person in the position has some experience.
• The director has jurisdiction over the tournament committee, which could be a large or small group, depending on preference.
• Copies of digital files and documents from previous events will be provided, and past Fall Fury directors are available for consultation as needed.
• General duties:
  • Monitor tournament email account provided by club
  • Submit WYSA tournament sanctioning form and post-tournament report
  • Build a tournament committee. Items that need to be covered include:
    • Vendors
      • Oregon High School senior class concessions stand
      • Apparel vendor(s)
      • Food vendors
    • Provide input on design and order trophies/awards/medals
    • Coordinate items to rent for tournament weekend
      • Portapotties
      • Garbage dumpsters
      • Tents, if needed
    • Signage needs for sponsors, maps and banners (some reusable each year)
    • News release to media outlets
    • Contact Chamber of Commerce and sponsors for messages on signs
    • Areas that already have people in place:
      • Registration, bracket seeding, scheduling
      • Volunteers (Oregon SC Volunteer Coordinator)
      • Sponsorship (Oregon SC Fundraising Coordinator)
      • Referee Assignor (club assignor)
      • Food Drive for OAFP (Oregon SC Food Drive Coordinator)
