With the soccer season and school year both under way, the Oregon Soccer Fall Fury is just around the corner. Our club's 28th annual tournament will be held Sept. 15-17.

The Fall Fury is Oregon Soccer Club's main fundraising event for the year, and proceeds from the tournament help us keep registration fees down, maintain fields and fund scholarships for children whose families need financial assistance to play soccer.

Please help us continue to make this a high-quality event for the participating teams and our community by volunteering your time.

Volunteers are needed in a number of areas, including:

• Moving goals (Sunday, Sept. 10, 6-8 p.m.)
• Tournament setup (Friday, Sept. 15, all day and into evening)
• Registration tent (Sept. 15-17)
• Field marshals (Sept. 15-17)
• Sparkle control (Sept. 15-17)
• OSC Swag Table (Sept. 15-17)
• Tournament takedown (Sunday, Sept. 17 late afternoon/early evening)

Shifts can be scheduled around your children's games, so you won't miss any of the action. Or, if you can't volunteer your time, please consider donating some of the various products needed for the tournament.

New this year: High school students should sign up to volunteer through the link above, and tournament officials will provide verification of volunteer hours to the school.
