Oregon Soccer Club is seeking an assistant tournament director and a scheduler for our annual Oregon Soccer Fall Fury, which will be held Sept. 15 to 17, 2017. Both are volunteer positions.

The assistant director will work closely with tournament director Robert Zimmerman, who oversees all facets of the event and works with committee members to handle scheduling, volunteers, referees, fields, vendors, advertising, trophies, volunteer shirts, accounting and other items. This is a two-year commitment, as the assistant director will become the tournament director for the 2018 event, with a new assistant director to be added next year.

The scheduler will work with several other volunteers and lead the creation of the tournament schedule, following several Fall Fury policies and meeting deadlines. Most years, the vast majority of the scheduler's work is completed in the weeks before the tournament weekend; however, this can change based on the weather and field conditions, and the scheduler should plan to attend the event. Training and assistance using the GotSoccer tournament scheduling software will be provided.
