Oregon Soccer Club is thrilled to announce a multi-year partnership with historic global sports apparel company hummel.
As of July 1, hummel will become the official uniform supplier for Oregon SC Competitive and Academy teams. The Danish company, which has greatly expanded its U.S. presence in recent years, will provide cutting-edge kits for our teams and sharp sideline gear for players, coaches and fans alike.
"We’re excited to collaborate with hummel, a brand that combines tradition and innovation," Oregon SC president Eric Anderson said. "Their authentic, customized designs will allow us to showcase our club’s history and strong connection to our community through stylish, high-performance uniforms."
Club officials are working with hummel North America designers to put the finishing touches on a custom jersey that Competitive and Academy teams will wear starting in the 2025-2026 season. We can't wait to share the design with our players and families and hope to be able to do so soon.
The secondary shirt for Academy and Competitive players will be black, and that jersey also will be worn by players in our Recreational program starting in the fall — meaning all Oregon SC players 9U and older will have one jersey in common for the first time in many years.
"Having all players in the club 9U and older have one common jersey will help increase the sense of unity and community across the programs," Anderson said.
Founded in 1923, hummel has been in the sports apparel business for more than 100 years, including being the first brand to launch a soccer cleat. Known for its world-class creativity, the partnership will help bring to life unique, community-inspired kits on the field.
hummel's iconic bumblebee logo can be found on the kits of the Danish national team, German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen and Spanish La Liga side Real Betis, among others. Locally, hummel has been the apparel partner for Forward Madison FC since the club's founding in 2018, and their jerseys have been a major part of putting the 'Mingos' on the map internationally.
“Our hummel team is thrilled to begin working with a historic Wisconsin club in Oregon SC. Community building is such an important part of our values, and Oregon SC is a great example of the impact a youth club can have on their community," said Conor Caloia, hummel North America. "With Oregon being just down the road from us, the chance to work with a local club also provides a unique opportunity for our team to continue to help grow soccer in the state."
