All Oregon Soccer Club registration fees include a non-refundable 10% processing fee, based on the total program registration fee (not only the amount paid to date, if using an installment plan).

For the following programs:

  • 4U/5U
  • 6U/7U/8U In-House
  • 8U/9U/10U (including Academy)
  • 11U and older Recreational

If a family requests to withdraw a player from a program for which he/she is registered before the team's first practice/training, Oregon SC will issue a refund, minus the 10% processing fee. Please note that this covers only registration fees and does not include any other expenditures. Once practices have started for the team, no refunds will be issued. Refund requests must be made in writing via email to the appropriate age group commissioner.

For the following program:

  • 11U and older Competitive

No refunds will be issued once a player accepts a position on an Oregon SC Competitive team and pays the initial fee to hold a roster spot.

As a reminder, players are bound to the team for the entire seasonal year once a written acceptance occurs and a parent/guardian completes Oregon SC player registration, per Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association policy. Any player who commits to a team and then wants to change to another club in the same registration year will be considered a transfer and is subject to WYSA competitive player transfer policies.

Appeals

The Board will consider appeals to this refund policy on a case-by-case basis. Possible reasons for appeal include, but are not limited to:

  • Medical conditions or long-term injuries that prevent players from participating (confirmation from physician could be required)
  • A family move out of the immediate Oregon area
  • Major family changes, such as a terminal or debilitating illness to an immediate caregiver

Appeals should be made in writing via email to the appropriate age group commissioner.

Refund appeals for the fall season are discussed at the November Board meeting; refund appeals for the spring are discussed at the June Board meeting.
