Oregon Soccer Club and Oregon Community Bank are proud to announce the creation of a new club sponsorship agreement.

The creation of an Elite Sponsorship program between OSC and OCB is a great step forward for both organizations. This includes a $20,000 donation to the club from Oregon Community Bank.

OSC and OCB have a long history together. For more than two decades, the bank has been proud to support the club and has felt very fortunate to have a number of OCB families participating in the program.

“We think Oregon Community Bank is a perfect partner for us: Oregon SC is a local community soccer club, and OCB is a local community bank," Oregon SC Board president Eric Anderson said. "As a non-profit club, we are always interested in finding ways to help offset costs to our families, while also improving the training we are able to provide to our players. This partnership will be of great benefit to more than 900 kids from Oregon and the surrounding area that play soccer with Oregon SC."

Earlier this year, OSC and OCB began discussions to formalize and enhance the support received from OCB. The discussion led to the idea of an Elite Sponsorship arrangement – an elevated level of financial support with a multiple-year commitment. After much discussion, the club and the bank agreed to a multiyear arrangement where the club, for the first time, will have a formal, long-term commitment of financial support from a major donor. This financial stability for the club is a significant enhancement from a fundraising and financial planning standpoint.

“At Oregon Community Bank, we are very passionate in our support of organizations such as Oregon SC,” commented OCB President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Peotter. “Youth sports brings together many of the best things in America. We know the positive impact youth sports has for children and young adults. We are happy to do our part to support Oregon SC and the youth of America.”

One of the new initiatives stemming from the enhanced partnership is the introduction of new-look jerseys for the club’s Competitive and Academy teams. The new jerseys were designed through collaboration between the OSC Board and OCB, and highlight the enhanced partnership via an Oregon Community Bank logo on the front.
